Tanoto Foundation Youth Experience Program, Indonesia
Summer 2025
Tanoto Foundation is funded by the world’s largest paper company (RGE) and is focused on solving literacy challenges for kids in rural SE Asia. I spent time understanding the foundation’s operating and financial model, and also spent time onsite in schools in remote villages in Indonesia. At the end, I wrote and presented a report suggesting improvements to increase efficiency and raise the profile of the foundation to expand funding.
